A deity cometh

I am the alpha and the omega,
the beginning and end
there is none before me
nor after me

I am the light at the end of the tunnel
and the passageway to misery

I am what make roses red,
I am what defines red

i am nothing without you
i am everything with you

I am in control
i am omnipotent
Do not fear me
for i am your thought.

    I love the simplicity in how it reads and the pace it takes. Do a couple more like this and then try out more complex poems like rhyme schemes and metrics.
